Architect Vacancy
Nottingham Cathedral is looking for a Conservation Accredited Architect as Lead Architect and Contract Administrator for its National Lottery Heritage Fund supported Restoring Pugin Project.
The Main Contractor is Cliveden Conservation. We expect to start on site at the end of July and complete end of November 2026.
This follows successful completion of 5 months of paint trials and investigations, as a result of which conservators will be able to recreate and restore the entire original decorative scheme in the Cathedral’s east end.
The Conservation Architect who led the development phase has had to withdraw from the project.
