Jubilee of the Sick and Health Care Workers
Join Bishop Patrick for this special service, which includes the Sacrament of the Sick for those in need of it.
In anticipation of the World Day of the Sick, held on the 11th February, the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes, all are welcome to join this service.
The Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick is a Catholic Sacrament that provides spiritual and physical comfort to people who are ill. The Sacrament gives grace for the state into which people enter through sickness. Bishop Patrick, assisted by Clergy, will administer the Sacrament of the Sick at the Cathedral on Sunday 9th February at 3pm. Light refreshments will be available in the hall following the Service. If you are able to donate any cakes or biscuits, they would be greatly appreciated. All are welcome to attend
