The Letter ~ A Screening of the Film
An inspiring film that brings together voices from around the world to explore climate change, social justice, and our shared responsibility for the planet.
Ten years ago, Pope Francis issued his letter to all people of goodwill, reminding us of the threats to life on earth from global warming, the destruction of our environment through reckless human waste and extravagance, and of the responsibility we all have to care for the earth as we care for each other.
Based on an invitation from the late Pope Francis to people of all faiths, the film features moving stories from a young climate activist, an Indigenous leader, a refugee, and a team of scientists. Together, they highlight the urgent need for compassion, dialogue, and action.
To celebrate the anniversary, and see the impact of Laudato Si', you are warmly invited to a screening of 'The Letter'.
This is a chance to watch, reflect, and begin a conversation about hope, justice, and how we care for our common home.
All are welcome.
