The Friends of Nottingham Cathedral welcome you to the national ‘Heritage Open Days’. From 11th-20th September.
Guided tours of the Cathedral will be offered, including in Cantonese, for anyone interested in learning more about this architectural and spiritual gem.
The tour guide, developed by ‘the Friends’ explores the history, principal features and decoration of the Cathedral.
Come and see the ongoing restoration of the Cathedral Architect, A.W.N. Pugin, in our Restoring Pugin Project, which is currently taking place in the three East End Chapels and ambulatories and meet some of the Conservators from Cliveden Conservation, who are bringing the beauty of Pugin's decoration back to life.
