Recruiting: Choral Director
The Music Department is seeking to recruit an additional choral director, as its Schools' Singing Programme expands to Derbyshire.
The Music Department is looking for an innovative and dynamic musician to help develop the Schools' Singing Programme in the Derbyshire area of the Diocese, working with the Ralph Sherwin Catholic Multi-Academy Trust. Thanks to the generosity of the NSSP, the programme enables children from across the diocese to gain access to high-quality sacred music tuition and to deepen links with their faith and local parish, regardless of their background.
The Choral Director will be a key member of the Diocesan Music Department and Cathedral staff, responsible for delivering the Schools' Singing Programme across a wide range of schools signed up for the programme. As part of their role, the Choral Director will also undertake the direction of choral projects in the local area and will play a key part of the provision of music at the Cathedral.
